(Senior) System Analyst

Our client, a leading banking company, is currently seeking to hire a (Senior) System Analyst.

Responsibilities:

• Manage user requirements and prepare functional specification.
• Participate in system development and implementation.
• Provide application support and maintenance.
• Involve in whole Software Development Life Cycle including design, development, SIT, UAT and system implementation.
• Liaise with vendor.
• Incident management process to ensure service request or production incidents are dealt with promptly and properly managed.
• Ensure the development works follow department standards and guidelines.
• Prepare documentation of the analysis and design works.
• Prepare technical design documentation.
• Provide guidance to junior team members.

1. Knowledge, Skill & Attributes.

• Banking or Finance Experience is preference.
• System development and support experience in PL/SQL, Linux shell script.
• Experience on Linux, Windows Platform.
• Experience in supporting Treasury System (e.g. Murex, Summit) is an advantage.
• Experience in using DataStage, Cognos, Apache HIVE is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

1. Academic and Professional Qualification.

• Degree holder in Information Technology.

1. Training and Relevant Experiences.

• 6+ years of hands-on development experience in IT industry.
• Banking or Finance Experience is preference.
