Johnson Electric is hiring an experienced mechanical engineering manager to:
Support for the implementation of Siemens PLM;
Standardization of machines parts and components, improve existing workflows and system;
Work on continuous improvement projects to improve machine design capacity.
Your responsibilities will be to:
Develop JE standard libraries for automation and machinery. Work with machine design teams to complete standardization for purchasing parts and machining parts. Design standard modules for machines.
Introduce new technologies to improve existing design capability. Deep dig to improve process engineering related stuff.
Drafting content of machinery Design Handbook. Design workflow for machine manufacturing operations includes machining, assembly, debug and buy-off. Checking accuracy of SSG item, Library item and PCP.
Design 3D review, Safety assessment and other machine building related processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
Provide training to junior Design engineers, selected assembly technician and dedicated trainee on Design handbook and PLM.
Requirements
Degree or above in Mechanical/Automation Engineering or related disciplines.
At least 8 years working experience in Machine design, Machinery Manufacturing Process Engineering, Automation Design or similar field.
Experienced on doing standardization for machine components, machine building processes.
Have experience to work on Siemens PLM and build standard parts and machinign parts library.
Solid experience to use Solidedge along with Siemens Teamcenter
Strong detail oriented, problem solving and drive continuous improvement in existing working processes.
Excellent communication and analytical skill to work with different cross functional teams.
Good command on verbal and written English and Chinese.
Work location: Jiangmen, Guangdong (Hostel provided)
