Job Duties: Lead and oversee the new client business development and relationship management of existing accounts Engage with prospective clients to organise and run presentations and close deals Work through inbound and outbound leads on prospective clients to understand who the decisions makers are, build high level relationships and clearly understand business and technical requirements Clearly articulate firm’s advantages to best position and close new business Collaborate closely with both the client services and operations team to identify any potential issues and get involved directly when the subject matters are escalated by clients Prospect and work with various internal teams to fully cover your assigned territory, build relationships and cover all sales opportunities Perform brand building and marketing activities, oversee local and regional sales, promotions and campaigns Make data-informed decisions to drive performance and resource allocation Work through objections, pricing and contract issues to close deals Develop relationships with existing customers, industry consultants and complementary vendors to leverage sales opportunities through referrals Requirements 3-6 years in a Sales / Client Management capacity, or someone who is keen to try out / move to a Sales position can also be trained Open to a candidate from either sell-side, buy-side, fintech, finance, business or any other related industry, generally open The candidate should ideally be intellectually curious about what’s happening in the markets, in the APAC Region and around the world Good in managing multi-stakeholder sales cycles and closing deals Understanding of hedge fund operations and trade lifecycle would be an advantage but not necessary Strong and articulate communicator – written and verbal Strong ability to multi-task and manage priorities Excellent problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills Incentive to join the firm Super stable team, rotation of people extremely low Diverse and international culture Short hierarchy, direct access to friendly teams Exceptional long-term career prospects in a family-cultured office
