The Financial Coach and Training Specialist will coordinate and provide financial counselling/coaching services.
- Provide individual financial training for using tools such as detailed financial assessments and budgets to provide strategies for saving and credit building.
- Provide financial trainings in individual and small group sessions
- Provide individualized financial counseling sessions (including both initial and follow-up sessions) and achieve client outcomes..
- Support the creation of new workshops in budgeting, banking, and credit.
- Ensure that all training requirements are met for participants in budgeting, cash management, savings, and credit building. Ensure that participants complete the required training.
- Increase participant knowledge of financial services and credit offerings.
- Explore into financial services hiring and train the staff
- Helps create financial plans to achieve their goals.
- Answers financial questions and addresses concerns.
- Coaching on building long-term relationships.
- Analyzes market and economic trends.
- Stays up to date on relevant government policies.
- Maintains client confidentiality.
- Collaborates with other financial planners.
- Undergraduate degree preferred, or a combination of equivalent years of education and related work experience.
- Experience with financial education, counseling, and coaching.
- Demonstrated understanding of personal finances, particularly in the areas of budgeting, asset building, and credit building. Previous work experience in teaching basic financial literacy is preferred.
- Ability to effectively coach clients through the nuanced process of family budgeting, goal setting, asset and credit building.
