Our client a large commercial bank is looking to hire Project Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing assigned product and project development initiatives to meet the productivity and growth targets of the Bank.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including definition of milestones and deliveries to bring projects from initiation to delivery.
- Work with stakeholders and manage project resources to drive execution according to the plan.
- Monitor and report on project progress, cost, risks, issues and dependencies.
- Support the preparation and completion of project documentation according to the approved project management guideline.
- Lead and liaise with end users and IT in system implementation project.
- Ensure overall effectiveness of assigned product and project development.
A) Knowledge, Skill & Attributes
- In-depth knowledge of a variety of banking products, finance/accounting (e.g. GL), best practices and technology, experience on internet banking implementation or operations / remittance is highly advantageous.
- Operation experience / knowledge of wholesale banking business in China (e.g. working experience in Chinese local bank in Mainland China).
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Excellent project portfolio management and leadership skills.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Fluent Putonghua).
- Willing to work under pressure and overtime.
B) Academic and Professional Qualification
- Degree holder in Business, Information Technology, Project Management or related disciplines. Holder of PMP is advantage.
C) Training and Relevant Experiences
- Minimum 10 years solid experience in product support, project management, preferably gained from banking sector.
- Experience in implementing any banking system or operations / remittance in the bank will be an added advantage, preferable experience in PRC.
- Prior experience in system conversion and business integration project is a definite advantage.
