We are seeking an experienced and connected Principal Consultant to join our team in Hong Kong with a focus on private sector financial institutions (PSFIs). This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business in a senior role, and brings access to ERM's worldwide network of experts, best practices, and learning opportunities. The role also offers a potential ‘pathway to partnership’.
Key service areas that you would help build and deliver include:
Environmental & Social Due Diligence, with emphasis on value creation opportunities.
Green/Social/Sustainability-Linked financial product frameworks and SPOs.
International standard environmental & social due diligence, e.g., ref. EP4, IFC PS, ADB ESS.
PSFI and portfolio company ESG strategy advisory including materiality assessment, science-based and Net Zero GHG targets, and roadmap development and implementation.
Reporting services including inter alia UN PRI and EU SFDR.
Familiarity with emerging Natural Capital services for PSFIs would be a bonus.
You will be expected to help build and develop a team of consultants.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPECTATIONS
Master’s degree in a relevant science, engineering, or business discipline preferred.
Minimum 12 years’ business development and execution experience in the above services.
Experience in people and project management.
Strong communication skills in written / spoken English and Cantonese and/or Mandarin.
Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently with minimal supervision
