We are looking for an ambitious SEO expert who is ready to lead an exciting proposition expansion. As SEO Director, you will be the functional lead and set to develop and champion advanced strategic SEO projects, while working closely with a portfolio of clients to ensure their effective implementation to achieve growth.

FIND
- Steer, develop and deliver on the Assembly SEO proposition, and play a central role in service expansion across the APAC region.
- Refine SEO product offering and establish agency standard for SEO work.
- Stay curious of your clients’ constant changing business environment, understand the industry and trends to position Assembly’s as valuable business partner.
- Identify and implement opportunities for quality and efficiency improvement across work processes and resource allocation.
CHANGE
- Capable of evaluating project priorities, switch gear and manage workflow for clients and your team to meet deadlines.
- Actively improve and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic search visibility, website traffic, and conversions
- Capable of resolving internal process loopholes and client technical issues in timely manner to ensure campaign runs smoothly.
GROWTH
- Lead globally and think locally. Be able to propose strategies to improve local search visibility for clients across the region and across a variety of platforms.
- Make effective best practice SEO recommendations that fit your clients, provide tangible impact and working in partnership to navigate their change for growth.
- Hold the vision of growing a high performing SEO team through recruiting, reviews, active mentoring, coaching and training.
DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?
- Proven experience as an SEO professional, with a focus on strategy and leadership roles, ideally with 8+ years of SEO experience in a digital media agency
- Share the vision to lead and build a SEO subject matter expert hub in APAC, with eagerness to develop and strengthen our in-market talent
- Exposure to client verticals such as retail, beauty, luxury, consumer electronics, and banking & finance, insurance, travel
- Proficiency in SEO tools and analytics platforms, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO keyword research tools such as Screaming Frog, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Searchmetrics and more
- Understanding of paid media (i.e. PPC/Social/Display) and how SEO plays a connected role
- Excellent communication and presenting skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Fluent English is required, major plus if fluent in Korean
