JOB SUMMARY
We’re currently seeking a motivated Trading Intern for the Markets business. You will play a critical role in both the operational and strategic facets of our trading operations. This internship is designed to immerse you into the fast-paced world of cryptocurrency trading, focusing not only on trade execution and strategy development but also on significant contributions to ongoing technological projects and operational enhancements.
In this role, you will be expected to leverage your strong background in computer science or quantitative finance to assist in refining our strategies and enhancing our trading infrastructure. Your contributions will directly impact our efficiency and capability to execute high-volume trades for our clients with precision and minimal market impact. Additionally, you will help implement operational improvements, ensuring that our trading processes are both robust and scalable.
This position is ideal for candidates who are not only passionate about the financial markets and cryptocurrencies but also keen to apply their programming and analytical skills to solve real-world problems and optimize trading operations. You will work closely with both our technology and trading teams to drive innovations and improve our service delivery in the dynamic crypto market.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategy Development: Support the development and implementation of both client-focused and proprietary trading strategies.
- Coding and System Optimization: Write and optimize high-quality code to improve our trading and operational platforms, enhancing efficiency and responsiveness.
- Data Analysis: Conduct detailed market and trade data analysis to identify trends, forecast market movements, and provide insights for strategy refinement.
- Client Interaction: Occasionally interact with clients to understand their needs and help provide tailored trading solutions.
- Market Research: Stay informed about market conditions, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in the cryptocurrency space, and write regular market updates for distribution to our clients
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Programming Skills: Proficient in Python, Rust, or C++. Experience with financial modeling or algorithmic development is highly valued.
- Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex market data.
- Knowledge of Financial Markets: Understanding of financial markets and instruments, with a specific interest in cryptocurrencies and trading.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to synthesize complex information and ideas into digestible written form
- Problem-Solving: Ability to solve problems creatively and efficiently under pressure.
