Assist finance function for all financial aspects, including but not limited to:
- Maintain the group’s system of accounts and keep books and records on all group transactions and assets
- Support day-to-day operations including payments process and bank account maintenance
- Assist in business projects and group requests, e.g. entity setup
- Assist in management reports preparation and month-end closing process
- Prepare monthly budget and closely monitor the liquid capital requirement coordinate with internal compliance team for regulatory filings/ requests
- Implement and maintain effective financial controls for the organization
- Perform financial and regulatory reporting functions, e.g. preparation of Financial Resources Return, PQR filing
- Liaise with external fund administrator and external auditors on annual audit procedures
- Monitor and calculate incentive fees for portfolio managers
- Liaise with external tax representatives for the preparation of tax returns
- Handle other issues related to financial arrangements
- Take up ad hoc projects as assigned
- With a university or above degree in Finance or Accounting (Chartered Accountant is preferable)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in asset management, audit, fund administration or financial institute. Highly prefer auditors in asset management field
- Basic understanding of investment funds or asset management is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written English
- Ability to work independently and manage his/her own tasks
