Vita Green Health Product Company Limited, a retail company specializing in producing and promoting 13 proprietary brands and over 150 products across Asia, Europe, and the USA is seeking an Assistant Procurement Manager to join their team. As the Assistant Procurement Manager, you will work under the Procurement and Material Planning team, closely partnering with different stakeholders to provide support on supply sourcing, project coordination planning, execution, and related change management. Vita Green seeks a dedicated candidate with a high value for integrity to contribute to their growing company.

Responsibilities

    • Self-motivated, a team player with a positive attitude, high initiative and integrity
    • Be responsible for the ongoing development, compliance, and management of procurement policies, product quality, procurement processes, and systems
    • Lead the team to organize and manage all activities related to strategic sourcing, new product development (NPD), project coordination, and provide change management support and supplies on project initiatives
    • Design and deliver procurement management reports for strategy formulation and drive continuous process improvements
    • Conduct spends and market analysis to provide insight and facilitate quality improvement, cost-saving, and procurement opportunities
    • Coordinate with all lines of business (LOBs) to keep them abreast of the latest project status
    • Propose and implement plans to improve procurement process efficiency
    • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
    • Forecast and plan the company's inventory needs
    • Ensure that all purchases meet quality standards and are delivered on time
    • Manage the procurement budget and regularly report to the upper management
    • Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Business Administration or related disciplines
    • At least 3 years of relevant managerial experience in sourcing and procurement management
    • In-depth knowledge of procurement policies, procedures, and best practices
    • Experience in the retail industry highly preferred
    • Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
    • Good knowledge of manufacturing and project management
    • Familiar with D365, SAP, or other ERP systems is a plus
    • Professional certification in CIPS, procurement, or supply chain
    • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
    • Self-motivated, a team player with a positive attitude, high initiative and integrity
