We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager for the Greater China region. This role is pivotal in driving our revenue initiatives, managing market-specific strategies, and expanding our presence in Hong Kong, Mainland China, and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in technology, a deep understanding of the Greater China market, and a proven track record in business development and revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Generation: Perform business development work for the Greater China region.
- Market Strategy: Develop and execute geo-specific strategies to grow our market presence in Hong Kong and Mainland China.
- Partnership Management: Build and nurture relationships with key partners, including distributors, affiliates, influencers, marketing and ads agencies, system integrators, and e-commerce platforms third-party partners. Leverage partnerships to drive distribution and branding efforts via joint-GTM activities such as events.
- Strategic Partnership Management: In addition to developing relationships with distribution partners, you will also support nurturing the relationships with the company's strategic partners.
- Experimentation: Run fast, low-cost experiments to test market fit and optimize our go-to-market strategies. Implement viral campaigns, sponsor events, and conduct hyper-local activities to boost brand awareness and customer acquisition.
- Customer Engagement: Work closely with existing customers to understand their needs, gather feedback, and improve customer satisfaction. Ensure the successful onboarding and support of new customers.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams, including marketing, product, and customer support, to align on goals and resources. Assist in recruiting and training new team members as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role in the SaaS/tech industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets and sales quotas.
- Deep understanding of the Greater China market and experience working in or with Hong Kong and Mainland China.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.
