We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager, People Operations to lead our People Operations team across Malaysia and the US. This role requires a strong ability to manage internal stakeholders, implement HR strategies, and ensure seamless HR operations in a multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily HR operations, such as onboarding, offboarding, leave management, work injuries application, etc.
- Process regular payroll to ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries, wages, bonuses, and deductions, and ensure compliance with payroll-related regulations, including tax reporting and filing.
- Lead the performance review cycle process, including salary adjustments, promotions, and equity reviews.
- Oversee and manage the People Operations function for Hong Kong, Malaysia and the US, ensuring alignment with global HR strategies and local compliance requirements.
- Drive initiatives to improve employee experience, retention, and overall employee experience.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic HR initiatives that support business growth.
- Monitor HR metrics and provide regular reports to senior management, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Perform ad-hoc assignments and projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in HR operations
- Proven experience in managing HR operations across multiple regions, experience in Malaysia and the US will be a plus
- Strong understanding of up-to-date AI tools is a MUST
- Strong ability to manage internal stakeholders and build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software.
