We are looking for a driven and creative Merchandiser to join our Hong Kong team, with direct reporting to our Managing Director.
In this role, you will lead the creation and development of consumer goods across multiple brands and product categories, including apparel, accessories, home decor, and textiles. This position provides a comprehensive experience, overseeing the full lifecycle of the supply chain—from initial product concepts to manufacturing, design, marketing collateral, and financial objectives.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Performing market research to discover and develop new product opportunities.
- Making strategic design choices that align with both aesthetic appeal and production efficiency.
- Sourcing and establishing partnerships with manufacturers to deliver high-quality products for our brands.
- Negotiating pricing and contractual terms with suppliers to meet our cost and quality standards.
- Managing the product sourcing process from start to finish, including sample approvals, quality assurance, and final delivery.
- Ensuring all products adhere to US trade regulations.
- Collaborating with creative teams, including photographers, videographers, and copywriters, to produce effective marketing materials.
- Building and maintaining strong communication with a network of entrepreneurs, artisans, designers, quality control experts, logistics professionals, and regulatory advisors.
