This is a top private equity firm with offices located around the world Description Key Responsibilities Act as 'Controller' and oversee payment/funding, financial reporting and analysis, audit, budget & reforecast for assigned Asia offices Liaise with administrators on local Company Registry filings and matters, prepare board resolutions on corporate matters Work with tax team and advisors to handle corporate tax returns/computations and tax queries Prepare statutory returns (e.g. SFC, MAS) and monitor liquid capital requirement; coordinate with internal compliance & legal Team for regulatory filings/ requests Assist in business projects and group requests such as entity setup & liquidation, dividend distribution, rollout of group accounting system & software Responsible for maintenance of financial records Handle ad hoc projects including but not limited to KYC/AML requests and contract negotiatio Qualifications & Experience Qualified accountant with Big Four accounting firm experience as well as in house corporate accounting experience 8+ years relevant experience Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) Skills & Attributes Open minded and willing to take up new challenges Hands on and detail orientated (not reviewing or supervising only) Strong sense of ownership Strong problem-solving skills/judgement Good team player, strong analytical skills, entrepreneurial and flexible Great sense of urgency, time management and prioritization Possess a positive and service-oriented attitude; willing to learn and is a team player Able to juggle multiple tasks and to deal with ambiguity by making good judgment in different situations Confident, proactive, a great problem solver and is calm under stress Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
