Responsibilities: Responsible for day-to-day management of credit risk arising from exposures booked in Corporate Banking including Large Corporates and / or Structured Finance, with a focus on mainland related lending exposures including SOEs and POEs as well as LBO financing; Review and approve credit lending proposals within delegated authority to ensure that the bank’s credit offering is in compliance with bank’s policies, procedures and risk appetite; Provide recommendations and highlight key risk issues to front office and credit approvers; Perform on-site credit due diligence by joining joint-calls with business unit officers; Provide training and guidance to RMs / ARMs on credit policies and processes; Prepare portfolio reports / analysis of bank’s credit portfolio; Participate in credit policy / new product programme review and ad-hoc projects assigned by Management; and Business travel is required. Requirements: Degree holder or above in Finance, Business or related disciplines or other relevant qualifications; Holder of ECF-CRM is a plus; At least 15 years of relevant experience in commercial / corporate banking with credit assessment experience, broad industry exposure and knowledge of cash flow lending; Strong technical knowledge of commercial banking credit approval process, systems and controls and credit risk management; Good at communicating with stakeholders of all levels and has a mature and positive working attitude; and Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluency in Mandarin is an advantage.
