Our client a Commercial bank is looking to hire is looking to hire System Analyst

• Gathers and analysis business needs with users.
• Evaluates and recommend ready-made solution to meet business needs.
• Designs, supervises development and verifies delivered results.
• Ensures development work follow the Bank’s standard and guideline.
• Prepares technical documentation of the analysis and design work.
• Assists the Team to plan and supervises application implementation.
• Provides guidance to junior IT personnel.
• Ensures the software development progress according to schedule and participates in program development when necessary to meet the predefined development schedule.
• Provides technical support to ensure smooth 24 hours round the clock operation (including Disaster Recovery Site support) within the bank.

A)   Knowledge, Skill & Attributes

• Exposure to multiple computer platforms, e.g Linux, Windows
• Familiar with Software Development Life Cycle.
• Good technical knowhow on utilizing .Net, Java Programming and Database
• Major projects work on Loans/Credit business and related operation process
• Possess experience in whole development cycle mainly in system development, implementation and support.
• Project Management Professional is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Be a team player for mobilizing the team and vendor resources.
• Proactive attitude and able to work independently
  

B)   Academic and Professional Qualification

• Degree holder in Information Technology or relevant qualification
  

C)   Training and Relevant Experiences

• At least 6-8 years of experience in application software development with at least 4 years in system analysis

Our client a Commercial bank is looking to hire is looking to hire Senior System Analyst.

• Gathers and analysis business needs.
• Evaluates software packages.
• Develops, tests, installs, maintains and modifies computer programs.
• Review and provide recommendation on application software improvement.
• Designs application software and verifies delivered results.
• Ensures development work follow department standard and guideline.
• Ensures the software development progress according to schedule and participates in program development when necessary to meet the predefined development schedule.
• Prepares documentation of the analysis and design work.
• Provides technical support to ensure smooth 24 hours round the clock operation (including Disaster Recovery Site support) within the bank.

A)   Knowledge, Skill & Attribute

• Exposure to multiple computer platforms.
• Knowledge in Core Banking Deposit and Payment.
• Major project work on Core Banking is preferable.
• Possess experience in whole development cycle mainly in system development, implementation and support.
• Practical experience in Java, JBOSS, Websphere, IBM MQ, XML, Oracle, MySQL and MSSQL, Shell Scripting.
• Strong technical skill in Java, JBOSS, Shell Scripting, Database SQL.
• Team player with good analytical, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English, proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage.

C)   Training and Relevant Experiences

• At least 4 years of experience in application software development with 1 to 2 years in system analysis. Candidate will less experience will be considered as System Analyst

Our client a large commercial bank is looking to hire Project Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing assigned product and project development initiatives to meet the productivity and growth targets of the Bank.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, including definition of milestones and deliveries to bring projects from initiation to delivery.
• Work with stakeholders and manage project resources to drive execution according to the plan.
• Monitor and report on project progress, cost, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Support the preparation and completion of project documentation according to the approved project management guideline.
• Lead and liaise with end users and IT in system implementation project.
• Ensure overall effectiveness of assigned product and project development.

A) Knowledge, Skill & Attributes

• In-depth knowledge of a variety of banking products, finance/accounting (e.g. GL), best practices and technology, experience on internet banking implementation or operations / remittance is highly advantageous.
• Operation experience / knowledge of wholesale banking business in China (e.g. working experience in Chinese local bank in Mainland China).
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Excellent project portfolio management and leadership skills.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Fluent Putonghua).
• Willing to work under pressure and overtime.

B) Academic and Professional Qualification

• Degree holder in Business, Information Technology, Project Management or related disciplines. Holder of PMP is advantage.

C) Training and Relevant Experiences

• Minimum 10 years solid experience in product support, project management, preferably gained from banking sector.
• Experience in implementing any banking system or operations / remittance in the bank will be an added advantage, preferable experience in PRC.
• Prior experience in system conversion and business integration project is a definite advantage.
