About the role

We are looking for a diligent and proactive Senior Manager – Credit Underwriting to join us as part of the winning team in an exciting journey. This role reports to the Chief Credit Officer and assist in leading a team of credit underwriters to conduct credit analysis and underwriting on new potential clients and regular review of existing clients.

What you need to do

• Lead a team of credit underwriters to conduct credit analysis and underwriting on new potential clients and regular review of existing clients with minimal supervision and ensure timely reporting of related credit information and reports of subordinates;
• Formulate and review risk framework, credit policy, risk model, scorecard, development and enhancement of adequate credit underwriting procedures;
• Assist in conducting portfolio risk management and ensure effective risk monitoring and special assets management, including early warning mechanisms, contingency and debt collection plans;
• Conduct fraud prevention measurements to ensure the underlying assets of the Trade Finance Projects are of good credit quality;
• Facilitating project development and data analysis by collaborating with various departments;
• Assist in implementing automation of credit underwriting procedures;
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks and assist in daily operations.

• University degree or high diploma in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Risk Management or related discipline;
• At least 5 years of experience in credit analysis earned from banking or finance sector;
• Knowledge of Trade Finance with experience in the e-Commerce industry will be an advantage
• A team player with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with internal and external business partners;
• Self-motivated, proactive and results-oriented;
• Able to work in a fast-paced start-up environment, with multi-tasking and keen to details;
• Being creative and tech-savvy on new product and procedure development and innovative solutions, can think outside the box for better solutions;
• Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin a plus).

We are growing fast, and we are now looking for a Finance Manager to help monitor and supercharge our finance and operations to support WATI’s high growth. 

In this role, you will be a crucial part of the company’s growth and will work closely with Head of Finance.  

What you’ll do

• Be a business partner to Management and provide insightful financial advice for better and faster decision making
• Understand the products and services of the Company, identify accounting issues and provide recommendations
• Assist in building the finance infrastructure that best suits the Company
• In charge of month-end closing accuracy and enhance efficiency 
• Work closely with FP&A to support budgeting and forecasting process, as well we MoM/BvA analysis
• Review day-to-day financial operations such as invoicing, account payables and accounts receivables 
• Prepare financial and management reports to senior management and investors
• Taking the lead to deal with auditors and agree treatment on issues in early manner, in order to provide more confidence on monthly reported numbers

• Strong analytical skills and business acumen
• Proven project management skills and ability to identify where processes can be strengthened, and successfully drive change and implementation
• Strong business partnering skills to work with the business, understand their needs, and ensure you capture their numbers accurately
• Have a high level of energy, passion and agility to work in a dynamic and constantly changing environment
• Have a strong work ethic and accountability for your work and decisions
• Fluency in English and Chinese (plus)

Our client a large commercial bank is looking to hire Project Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing assigned product and project development initiatives to meet the productivity and growth targets of the Bank.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, including definition of milestones and deliveries to bring projects from initiation to delivery.
• Work with stakeholders and manage project resources to drive execution according to the plan.
• Monitor and report on project progress, cost, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Support the preparation and completion of project documentation according to the approved project management guideline.
• Lead and liaise with end users and IT in system implementation project.
• Ensure overall effectiveness of assigned product and project development.

A) Knowledge, Skill & Attributes

• In-depth knowledge of a variety of banking products, finance/accounting (e.g. GL), best practices and technology, experience on internet banking implementation or operations / remittance is highly advantageous.
• Operation experience / knowledge of wholesale banking business in China (e.g. working experience in Chinese local bank in Mainland China).
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Excellent project portfolio management and leadership skills.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Fluent Putonghua).
• Willing to work under pressure and overtime.

B) Academic and Professional Qualification

• Degree holder in Business, Information Technology, Project Management or related disciplines. Holder of PMP is advantage.

C) Training and Relevant Experiences

• Minimum 10 years solid experience in product support, project management, preferably gained from banking sector.
• Experience in implementing any banking system or operations / remittance in the bank will be an added advantage, preferable experience in PRC.
• Prior experience in system conversion and business integration project is a definite advantage.
