About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Data Manager to lead our data management in the dynamic fintech industry. As a Data Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring data integrity, quality, and security within the organization. Your work will bridge the gap between business users and IT professionals, advocating for best practices in data management while understanding different departments' unique needs and priorities.

What you need to do

• Data Governance and Policy Enforcement:
• Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define business terminology, data standards, guidelines, and protocols to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization 
• Data Quality Management: 
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability
• Implement data quality assessment processes, identify anomalies or discrepancies, and coordinate efforts to rectify issues and improve overall quality 
• Data Access and Security Management: 
• Responsible for managing access controls and permissions to safeguard sensitive or confidential data for their assigned datasets
• Work closely with IT security teams to attain data access policies, monitor user activity, and mitigate security risks 
• Metadata Management: 
• Provide context and information about data assets 
• Define metadata standards, tags, and classifications to enhance data discoverability, lineage, and understanding across the organization 
• Data Lifecycle Management: 
• Oversee throughout the lifecycle of data, from creation or archival or deletion 
• Establish policies and procedures for data retention, archival and disposal, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and business needs.

• University Degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science or related discipline 

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in data or project management, preferably in the banking or FinTech field 
• Experience in driving the implementation of enterprise master data strategies. Knowledgeable about data governance practices, business and technology matters related to enterprise data management 
• Open-minded and self-motivated team player with a "can-do" attitude 
• Proactive with strong problem-solving, communication, influencing and negotiation skills 
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Mandarin is an advantage.

What you will do:

Retention Strategy Development:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive product-led retention strategy aligned with the company’s business goals.
• Identify key retention metrics and set targets to measure the success of retention initiatives.

Data-Driven Insights:

• Analyze user behavior data to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities for improving retention.
• Utilize limited data points to delve deeply and formulate hypotheses on potential problems.

Product Optimization:

• Collaborate with product management and UX/UI teams to enhance product features that drive user engagement and retention.
• Use data and customer feedback to highlight high ROI improvements to the product team.

Customer Onboarding and Engagement:

• Work closely with our customer onboarding and success teams to identify process gaps and implement rapid improvements.
• Drive both short-term operational enhancements and long-term scalable solutions to address these issues.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of retention strategies.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving the overall user experience and retention.

Reporting and Metrics:

• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer retention and product usage.
• Provide regular updates and detailed reports to senior leadership on the progress and impact of retention initiatives.

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in program management, product management, customer success, data analytics or a related field, with a focus on retention strategies in a tech environment. Experience in SaaS is a plus. 
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, A/B testing, and metrics tracking.
• An eye for improving customer experience, whether in product or process, an ability to deploy user-centric programs and measure impact.

About the Role
 

As a Presales Consultant, you’ll play a key role in providing presales technical support to the Sales team and presenting tailored demonstrations to clients. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to conduct Technical Proof of Concept, Demonstration & Presentation on the supported products & solutions.
