We are now looking for an energetic Cleaner to join The Pizza Project Central, the buzzing flagship of our pizza restaurant for the people, on lively Peel Street.

You will be responsible for setting up the cleaning station and dishwashing machine. You will be following health and safety regulations, and ensure a clean and safe environment for the guests.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Support the kitchen team with cleaning and dishwashing duties
• Sanitise and maintain cleanliness of the dishwasher machine
• Unload dishes and utensils from the dishwasher machine and organise them properly
• Empty trash containers regularly
• Maintain a clean working environment by sweeping and mopping when needed
• Ensure the kitchen adheres to health and safety regulations

• Able to handle a physically demanding role
• Positive attitude with teamwork mindset 
• Sense of responsibility for your role
• Fluency in English is a must, other languages are advantageous

About the Role

We're now looking for a dynamic and proven General Manager to join Pirata Group.

As the General Manager, you will be fully accountable for all operational and financial aspects of the business. You will ensure that the team is well-trained and motivated, consistently delivering extraordinary, memorable experiences to our guests.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Be a champion of service and ensure the restaurant consistently hits guest satisfaction targets
• Lead, mentor, and develop the team
• Deal decisively and effectively with any issues
• Meet financial targets through the application of sound and agile business plans
• Work closely with your Head Chef, Director of Operations, and our Marketing team to ensure the restaurant is positioned correctly in the highly competitive local market
• Ensure that the venue adheres to local Health and Safety laws
• Implement effective back-of-house systems and procedures
• Write staff rosters and manage annual leaves and staff absences
• Control the cost of goods by overseeing, maintaining and optimizing stock levels

• A minimum of 2 years of General Manager experience in a restaurant with more than one hundred covers
• Will have managed a large team of staff, both front and back of house
• Have a complete understanding of restaurant finances and be P&L-accountable
• A tangible record of driving sales within a commercial restaurant environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Empathetic people management skills
• Positive attitude with a teamwork mindset
• Sense of responsibility for the whole outlet, while being able to support other properties within the Pirata Group portfolio as required
• Fluency in English is a must, other languages are advantageous
