Your Profile Tertiary level qualification in either insurance/business/financial services/law/medical disciplines.More than 6 years' experience in claims or underwriting in insurance or reinsurance companies.Understanding and knowledge of the Life & health insurance/reinsurance industry including technical claims, Underwriting and product knowledge.Strong communication, influencing and presentation skills.Substantial collaboration capabilities and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.Expertise in handling and analyzing large quantities of dataCourage to challenge the status quo, to explore new ideas that improve our businessAbility to step back from details to see the bigger picture.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, other language is a plus. The Company We are helping a multinational retail company to look for a (Senior) Finance Manager. They are looking for candidates with all rounded accounting and finance experience from any retail/ FMCG/ wholesale industry. The Role - Responsible for handling all aspects of accounting, including tasks such as preparing month-end closing entries, reconciling balance sheets, and maintaining accounting schedules. - Responsible for reconciling inventory and managing capital expenditures. - Updating and managing lease data and performing lease accounting entries. - Preparing monthly reports for the group, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and analytical reviews. - Ensuring that month-end reporting is completed accurately and on time. - Ensuring compliance with group accounting policies, internal control guidelines, tax regulations, and other statutory requirements. - Overseeing the work of Accountants in tasks such as managing accounts receivable and accounts payable, handling intercompany transactions, and reconciling bank statements. - Collaborating closely with the local finance team to support accounting-related matters. - Independently managing the statutory audit and tax filing processes. - Performing additional analysis or projects as assigned.
