Position Summary

As the Product Manager - Markets, your primary responsibility is to deliver robust, technology-driven, and feature-rich software applications for Hex Trust's Markets business. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, document, and implement solutions in areas such as eTrading, OTC trading, Risk Management, and Trade Settlement Optimization. This role is critical in driving the success of our Markets products and ensuring alignment with business and client needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

Product Development & Documentation:

Perform ongoing reviews of business requirements and processes for Hex Trust's Markets products.
Coordinate with Product, Technology, and UX teams to create and maintain documentation, including Product Requirements Documents, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and Test Cases.
Support UAT, implementation, and user training as needed.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize feature implementation based on effort estimations and expected value.
Gather, validate, and document requirements from investors and stakeholders.

Market Research & Analysis:

Conduct market research on competitor features and industry trends.
Perform data analyses to support business decisions and product strategy.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Manager in financial services, particularly digital assets.
Proven expertise in cryptocurrency trading, DeFi, and mainstream digital assets.
Strong focus on delivering exceptional User Experience for institutional clients.
Solid understanding of trade lifecycles, challenges, and trade-offs.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Collaborative, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of financial products like derivatives (perpetual swaps, dated futures, options).
Experience working in start-up environments with an Agile mentality.

About the Job

As Hex Trust is growing rapidly and looking to expand its business into multiple jurisdictions, we are seeking professionals in the IT GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) space to support our Information Security Team. Your role will involve assisting the company in several areas, including IT Regulatory Affairs, Security Certifications, Policy and Process Design, IT Control and Assurance, and Audit Engagement Coordination. You should have a high-level understanding of various technology functions, processes, and concepts. We expect you to possess strong communication skills, excellent stakeholder management capabilities, and the ability to deliver results with high precision.

Responsibilities

Develop IT policies, standards, and procedures in accordance with industry best practices, relevant technologies, regulatory requirements, and standards.
Act as the point of contact for IT Regulatory Affairs and Client Due Diligence Questionnaires.
Review and revamp existing IT policies to ensure alignment with industry best practices and standards. Lead SOC 2 and ISO accreditations, obtaining and maintaining various IT and security compliance certifications.
Evaluate and manage capabilities that enable the organization to reliably achieve its objectives, address uncertainty, and act with integrity, making the organization more responsive and efficient overall.
Manage audit findings remediation to mitigate risks.
Coordinate external assessment requests related to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Act as the primary responsible party to drive and ensure policy compliance.
Perform and manage regular information security and control assessments to ensure compliance with information security policies and standards.
Identify and address information security risks and requirements to protect the organization from adversity, surprises, and weaknesses.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders in English.
2 to 5 years of work experience in at least one of the following areas such as IIT Audit & Risk Assurance, IT Risk & Control, IT Governance & Compliance
Experience with at least one of the following frameworks and regulatory requirements is preferred:

VARA/UAE Central Bank / Securities & Commodities Authority / MAS Technology Risk Management Guidelines and Cyber Hygiene Notice
NIST Cybersecurity Framework

A strong sense of ownership and a self-driven mindset
Certification holder or exam passer in one or more of the following: CIPP, CIPT, ISEB Certificate in Data Protection, CISA, ISO 27001, CCAK, CRISC, CISM, or CISSP

Hex Technologies Pte Ltd received the Major Payment Institution (MPI) in-principal approval license in July 2024 and, as one of the first custodians to receive the MPI license, the Compliance Officer (CO) will responsible for day-to-day compliance works and operations in our Singapore office and help ensure compliance risks are identified and adequately mitigated in both Singapore and at the Group company level. In addition, the CO will also help with the planning, implementation and oversight of the Governance-related responsibilities of the Compliance department, including but not limited to, reporting requirements for internal and external parties.

Responsibilities:

Manage compliance risk strategies, policies and frameworks at local and group level;
Monitor and assess compliance with the laws, regulations and policies of Singapore and the MAS;
Provide inputs to the Head of Legal & Compliance and management team on ongoing licensing requirements and best practices of processes at group level;
Implementation and processing of compliance controls and risk management activities;
Manage regulatory reporting;
Direct reporting to the Head of Legal and Compliance;
Carry out awareness briefing and staff training on regulatory requirements, company policies and procedures;
Liaison with regulators, auditors and law enforcement. Oversee compliance reviews and investigations;
Review marketing materials prior to publication;
Verify and ensure documentation is complete prior to onboarding of clients;
Perform investigative work on suspicious transactions and/or activities for both fiat and cryptocurrency transactions;
Manage and review all transaction alerts within target timelines, and where appropriate, prepare Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) to the relevant Authorities.

At least 7 years experience in a compliance role in a financial institution, digital assets company or in a regulated industry with a mix of regulatory compliance and AML/CFT compliance;
Regulatory exposure to the MAS or commensurate overseas regulator;
Relevant experience as a MLRO/Deputy MLRO highly preferred;
Familiar with the Payment Services Act particularly PSN01 and PSN02, and related regulatory requirements issued by the MAS;
Bachelor in Business, Accounting, Finance, Legal, or other relevant discipline;
Advanced degrees of certifications (e.g. CAMS, ICA, CCAS) are a plus;
Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure;
Ability to work independently and as part of a global team;
Hands-on approach and inquisitive mind.

Duties & Responsibilities

Perform market research and analysis on competitor/comparable products.
Identifying and designing new products, focusing on the business value provided to clients
Deeply understand client needs via close interactions, whenever possible and with business and client facing teams in HexTrust. Ask probing questions to clients to understand the problem they are trying to solve and their need, even if not explicitly and clearly expressed

Calibrate the trade-off between fulfilling a specific client need vs. making a product that can properly address similar needs of multiple clients. Product vs. tailor made trade-off
