We have 60,000 employees worldwide located in different regions (Europe, North America and Asia), whereby Singapore is the HQ for APAC. EvaGroup Asia Pacific is part of Sopra Steria I2S APAC, in charge of Infrastructure, Cloud and Cybersecurity services.
For this position, we are looking for an Application Support Analyst who can assist one of our clients - a leading investment bank.
Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for the trading applications of Equities & Derivatives Trading (Stocks, ETF, Warrants, Options & Futures) on various APAC markets in Windows/Linux platform
- Required to support traders, troubleshoot and diagnose functional and technical issues in the production environment
- Management and tracking of daily production problems and user request; ensure effective and timely resolution and communication to the client; report bugs back to local / overseas development teams
- Be responsible for handling business-driven or exchange-driven projects
- Conduct system Quality Assurance testing, perform deployment or upgrade of mission critical trading applications and systems
- Ensure adequate performance and operation of the systems - monitor the performance ⁄ operation, diagnose and address any problems
- Follow ITIL Application Support methodology to carry out incident escalation and system change management procedures
- Provide system and process documentation
- Morning / Lunch shift duty, weekend and holiday work are required
Competencies Required:
- Good business knowledge on cash and derivatives products and market rules
- Experience with system monitoring
- Good technical / scripting knowledge on Linux/Unix environment
- Basic network protocol knowledge (FIX/UDP/TCP, …)
- Takes initiative and is results driven
- Strong decision making and analytical skills
- Ability to innovate
- Strong team player
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel/VBA
- Proficiency with Python in Linux & Windows environments
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge on Fixed Income Products will be a huge advantage
Qualifications and Experience:
- University qualification with IT Major
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in trading support
- Regular team buildings
