Description:

For this position, we are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to assist one of our client - a leading European bank to provides support for basic incident resolution and requests reported to the regional service desk.

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily technical support and handle requests from end users based in Hong Kong office.
• Resolve cases received from tickets, emails and walk-ins.
• Create and update cases via ticketing system.
• Handling of desktops, laptops and mobile phones.
• Maintain system documentation, hardware & software inventory.
• Provide other IT-related support as required.
• Participate in projects.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties.
• Knowledge on desktop, networking, and general PC applications, like Microsoft 365.

• Able to work in shift hours: (Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm / 9:00am to 6:00pm / 9:30am to 6:30pm).

• Minimum 3+ years with hands-on experience in IT helpdesk or desktop support position.
• Self-motivated, strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Able to work with minimal supervisions.
• Knows how to use or have a knowledge on Active Directory, ADSI, Computer/Configuration Management, DFS Management, DHCP, DNS, Event Viewer, ODBC Data Sources, Print Management, Registry Editor, Remote Desktop, System Configuration, Task Scheduler, Control Panel, SCCM, Command Prompt, PowerShell, etc.…
• Has basic knowledge and troubleshooting related to Networking: TCP/IP, VPN, Switches, Cable Patching
• Has knowledge in writing scripts (in any programming languages) or macros will be an advantage, but not required.
• Knows how to support and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 requests/problems.
• Knows how to use or have a knowledge about Microsoft products such as, OneDrive, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams, Skype for Business, Visio, Access, Microsoft Endpoint Manager – Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Intune
• Knows how to support and troubleshoot any Microsoft Office request/issues.
• Experience in handling/managing Hardware Support and Maintenance such as:
      a. Laptop, desktop, docking stations and other computer peripherals):
          o Maintenance: hardware configuration, software/application installation, BIOS & Device Driver upgrades
          o Knows how to support and troubleshoot any hardware requests/incidents

    b. Mobile phone (iOS and Android)
        o Maintenance: mobile configuration, work (business) software/application installation and upgrades
        o Knows how to support and troubleshoot any mobile requests/issues

We are looking for a Technical Test Analyst based in Hong Kong to assist one of our clients - a Leading Investment Bank. This is a permanent role.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and Execute test scripts, test conditions, input test data, and expected results for test phase/s assigned – ST, SIT, UAT, Failover Test, Capacity Test, and Performance Test
• Follow the defined testing standards and procedures
• Record defects, problems, and issues in accordance with the defined processes
• Work with the application team to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process
• Inform QA Lead and QA Team of any issues that may affect the schedule or quality of the product or the testing process.
• Be responsible for test activities including development of test artefacts, execution of tests, reporting issues/defects to the project team, and follow up on issues for the assigned projects
• Solves problems using data-driven techniques and able to look for patterns in data
• Onshore coordination (India QA Team, Business Analyst, Development Team and Production Management Team Etc )

• 2-5 years of relevant experience
• UNIX / LINUX Commands. UNIX scripting skills will be highly regarded

IT Strategist – DevOps role, by embracing a dev-ops mindset, plays a critical role in developing solutions to operational problems faced by the team on a day-to-day basis. As such, this role serves as an integral component in ensuring that the technology platform remains best in class.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively manage the production platform by

1. leveraging software engineering to eliminate operational work via automation
2. optimizing system architecture to maintain operational efficiency
3. conducting thorough but blameless post-mortems to help guide the evolution of the platform

• Develop and maintain an expansive library of automatons and alpha models
• Develop and maintain monitoring and production tools used in the trading platform
• Develop and maintain the simulation tools and back testing environment used to test and validate strategies
• Contribute to the enforcement of adequate risk filters for each automaton to prevent abnormal behaviour.
• Organize and monitor the orderly production of automations during trading hours.
• Monitor, investigate, and improve performances of trading engines. ·
• Contribute to the research and design of optimal setup for each set of strategies.
• Coordinate and test infrastructure changes, as implemented by the Group IT and Production teams.
• Make sure all developments satisfy local regulations.
