We're looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team in Hong Kong. In our small team, you'll handle various financial tasks, providing great learning opportunities.
Your day at this role:
· Process supplier invoices and prepare payments for the Group.
· Manage month-end tasks, such as AP closing, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet breakdowns.
· Improve processes to make them more efficient and error-proof, including project-based work on automation.
Additional responsibilities after trainings:
· Prepare financial statements for a small portfolio of international companies
· Analyse and report on the performance of a portfolio of brands

What you need to do:
Assist in Preparing Financial Statements: Support the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
Conduct Account Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy.
Maintain Financial Records: Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payment records.
Support Audit Processes: Assist in the preparation of information for internal and external audits, addressing queries and providing necessary documentation.
Process Transactions: Handle day-to-day financial transactions, including processing payments, managing expenses, and tracking income.
Assist with Tax Compliance: Support the preparation and filing of tax returns and compliance documentation to ensure adherence to company and legal requirements.
Monitor Expenses: Track and review company expenses, providing analysis and suggestions for cost savings.
Contribute to Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of budgets by collecting and analysing financial data.
Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other finance team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely reporting.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance; fresh graduates will also be considered.

Your responsibilities include:

Assist with Credit Control Manager to perform the ageing and other required analysis on credit facilities by utilizing Microsoft office applications or Google documents.
Assist with Credit Control Manager on the data maintenance of the credit control system to help on data accuracy from time to time.
Handle the general administration works, and ad hoc tasks as required.
Bachelor’s Degree holder in Finance/ Accounting or other related disciplines.
At least 3 years’ experience in Accounting, where the experience in Account Receivables or Credit Control is a plus.
Personal encountered in using various accounting systems is an advantage.
Strong communication, data analysis, presentation and interpersonal skills
