We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive administrative Assistant to support our HR team. This role requires a strong ability to assist with HR operations, manage day-to-day administrative tasks, and provide support in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be organized, adaptable, and able to handle multiple responsibilities with ease.

Office Management:

Oversee the replenishment and ordering of office pantry
Ensure the office supplies & equipment are well-maintained and stocked.

HR Operational Support:

Assist with the onboarding and offboarding process, including preparing access cards and other necessary documentation.
Support the People Operations team on payroll preparation
Assist with vendor management, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery
Handle any ad-hoc administrative or operational tasks as required to support the team and ensure smooth office operations

Employee Experience:

Support the planning and execution of employee experience events.
Assist with the management of employee experience at other campuses across Hong Kong.

IT and Asset Management:

Collaborate with the IT department to manage company equipment and other assets related to employee usage.
Ensure proper tracking and maintenance of office and IT equipment

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; further education in office administration or HR is a plus.
Previous experience in office administration or HR support is preferred
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong understanding of up-to-date AI tools is a MUST
Knowledge of HRIS system is a PLUS
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

About the Role

We’re now looking for a dynamic Assistant Manager to join Calle Ocho, our innovative new Spanish tapas restaurant located in the retail epicentre, Causeway Bay.

As an Assistant Manager, you will support the Restaurant Manager in all aspects of running a top quality, high volume venue. You will ensure that the team is well trained, motivated, and consistently delivers a friendly, approachable, caring and informed service experience to our guests. You will be identifiable as a manager whilst on the floor, greeting guests and dealing with any issues that may arise.

The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, will have at least one year's experience as an assistant manager in a highly regarded restaurant, and be a hands-on, floor-based manager who enjoys being guest-facing.

Duties & Responsibilities

Ensure smooth implementation and execution of the restaurant operations
Provide training to the team to deliver the highest quality of service and sustain brand image
Implement marketing activities to drive sales and revenue for the restaurant
Control stocks for daily use in restaurant to ensure service requirements are met
Supervise and coordinate the prompt, high standard, efficient and courteous serving of food and beverage in the restaurant
Manage and store vendors’ contracts and invoices
Provide support to the Restaurant Manager in coordinating a variety of activities such as hiring and training, arranging schedules and guest requirements
Arrange for new employees’ proper onboarding (scheduling trainings and ordering uniforms)
Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene regulations
Gather guests’ feedback, respond accordingly, and resolve guest complaints

3+ years experience in hospitality industry
Strong management skill with a positive mindset and friendly image
Understanding in MS Office
A team player who is reliable and dependable
Enthusiastic when serving guests
Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
Self-organised and details-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility
Good business sense and operational, administrative and social skills
Passion, determination and commitment for success in the F&B industry
