Position Summary

Job Responsibilities:

Corporate Accounting

• Handle full sets of accounts including but not limited to financial and management reporting, AR, AP, management fee records, bank reconciliation, etc
• Prepare monthly end close, prepare management report and FRR reporting in a timely manner and in compliance with local regulations
• Monitor the liquid capital on a monthly basis
• Prepare consolidation package, including all necessary consolidation adjustments and eliminations 
• Prepare consolidated cashflow forecast and annual budget

Fund Accounting

• Process vendors' invoices for the fund and corporation
• Work with fund administrator on non-trading expenses bookings and payments for third-party invoices
• Perform NAV pack and returns review, management fee and performance fee review, etc

Other responsibilities

• Coordinate with auditor and tax advisor for tax filing and annual audit
• Assist in system enhancement and ad-hoc tasks

• Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting/Finance or a related discipline
• At least 4 years of corporate accounting/ auditing experience with FS exposure
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Good knowledge of International Accounting Standards and US GAAP, tax, and relevant statutory rules and regulations

Our client, a leading jewellery company, is currently seeking to hire an Accountants & Finance Manager..

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and administer Accounts Department and the team.
• Inventory & Accounts Reconciliations including intra group of Companies.
• Day book vouching and Internal Audit on a regular basis.
• Attending and handling of quick queries related to Accounts & reports.
• Keep and maintain Investment records at the group level.
• Take care of routine, ad hoc activities.
• Co-ordinate and provide necessary reports and documents to Internal Auditor & Statutory Auditor as per auditor requirements and ensure timely completion of Audits.
• Maintained good PRO with all the bankers and ability to communicate and negotiate with the banks.
• Shipping Negotiation and coordination with concern department and Carrier.
• Review and prepare monthly management MIS.
• Monitor and keep necessary legal compliance update in respect of KYC / KYS/ AML etc.

• Qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent degree and self-motivated to lead and handle the department.
• Through knowledge of handling Accounting of Partnership and Ltd Company.
• Should be Analytical, detailed Oriented and organized.
• Good Communication skill in English in writing & speaking. Native Language Knowledge is desirable.
• Positive, self-motivated, Possess Interpersonal Skills to coordinate between Intra Group of Companies across the globe.
• Computer literate – Advance knowledge of MS Office, Power Point. Knowledge of Tally Accounting Software and any other degree related to Accounts & Finance would be a plus.

• Compile various accounting and financial reports
• Ensure accurate and timely of the reconciliation and reports

• Bachelor degree or above in Finance, Accounting or related disciplines, or equivalent qualifications at HKQF level 5, with CPA qualification
• Minimum 10 years relevant working experience, with experience in working at Big 4 firms is an added advantage
