About Our Client As a Sales Support Associate, you will have a pivotal role in providing assistance and support throughout the sales process for our alternative investments, hedge funds, private equity, and family office divisions. Escalate critical matters to the team head and senior management, when necessary. Serve as the primary representative and point of contact for our CRM system, maintaining a high level of accuracy and generating comprehensive dashboards and reports for senior management. Collaborate closely with various internal teams to ensure seamless coordination and prompt resolution of client needs and concerns. Assist in conducting due diligence questionnaires and facilitating the onboarding process for new clients. Prepare and deliver regular reports and updates on funds to clients, ensuring timely and accurate communication. Provide support in organizing client seminars, events, and roadshows, taking responsibility from the planning stage through to flawless execution. Contribute to ad-hoc projects as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in handling diverse assignments. The Successful Applicant Requirements: Possess a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Finance, Business, or a related field. Demonstrated experience of 3+ years in a sales support or customer service role within the financial services or asset management industry. Holders of SFC Licenses Type 1 and 4 are highly preferred. Exhibit a customer-focused mindset, self-motivation, and the ability to thrive under pressure with tight deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Display a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. Work independently and exhibit strong problem-solving skills. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. DescriptionConduct accounting research, provide recommendations on the application of accounting standards and document the Group's positions with formal technical papers.Review potential investment cases, ensure accounting policies are properly implemented in financial models to facilitate project evaluations. Identify potential accounting issues and propose accounting treatments.Follow up post-transaction implementation with finance teams.Monitor the development of accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Manage the adoption of new accounting standards, including evaluating and assessing the impact on the Group and implementing the new accounting standards across the Group.Propose new accounting policies or updates to existing accounting policies to ensure the accounting policies are up to date with the latest accounting and regulatory guidance.Formulate comment letters to standard setters on proposed accounting standards.Develop and provide trainings to the Group's accounting professionals, build and enhance awareness of new and existing accounting pronouncements and regulatory requirements. ProfileA degree in Accounting or Finance and a member of HKICPA or other recognised professional accounting bodies.A minimum of 8 years combined experience in Big Four public accounting and/or sizeable public company, technical department experience is a plus.Good understanding of the Hong Kong Companies Ordinance and the Listing Rules; HK and/or International accounting standards and technical know-how.Good interpretation and communication skills, able to explain accounting and reporting issues clearly to teams across regions.Excellent command of writing, conversation and presentation skills both in English and Chinese including Cantonese and Putonghua.Good interpersonal skills and teamwork.
