About the Role
We are now looking for a dependable Sous Chef to join Pirata, our flagship Italian rooftop restaurant on Hennessy Road.
You will be working in a fast-paced kitchen, supporting the Head Chef as the second in command in kitchen operations. You will ensure that your section is ready for service, and that you prepare the dishes promptly to the expected standards. You will also take ownership of back of house duties such as stock take and staff training.

Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare the kitchen for service, both people and mise en place
Cook dishes in a timely manner up to restaurant standards
Support colleagues when needed
Maintain adherence to health and hygiene procedures
Manage and control stock
Oversee and train team members
At least 1 year experience as a Sous Chef, or 3+ years experience working in the kitchen
Knowledge of Italian cuisine
Positive attitude with teamwork mindset
Sense of responsibility for your role

Ensure all company standards are met during service
Lead a team to ensure smooth set up of the restaurant before and after shifts
