What You'll Do  

• Ensuring that both raw materials and finished products maintain the highest standards of quality.

Who we’re looking for: 

• A Degree holder in Chemistry, Chinese Medicines, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Studies or Science related disciplines
• Having at least 8 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry, with at least 3 to 5 years in a managerial role
• Attentive to details, mature, independent, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, work well in a team
• A good team player and willing to learn to develop yourself
• Particularly interested in growing yourself in a stable manufacturing environment
• Good communicator with other teammates
• Candidates with less work experience will be considered as Quality Assurance Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced QC Supervisor (Microbial) with over 5 years of relevant experience and a strong background in team management. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and will lead a team in ensuring the quality and safety of various materials including starting materials, packaging materials, and finished products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Arrange and oversee sampling and testing for various materials, including starting materials, packaging materials, and finished products.
• Review and manage Batch Production Records, various record forms, and test reports to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Conduct and supervise microbiological testing of food, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), and pharmaceutical products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality assurance throughout the production process.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control, with prior team management experience.
• Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is essential.
• Background in microbiology, biochemistry, pharmaceutical studies, or related fields is preferred.
• Experience with microbiological testing in food, TCM, and pharmaceuticals is a plus.

Responsibilities 

• Assist in arranging sampling & testing for various materials such as starting materials, packaging materials & finished products etc.
• Assist in managing work allocation of frontline QC staff to ensure all QC resources are fully utilized in an effective way
• Devise and review GMP documents such as various material specifications, SOPs, training materials
• Review and manage various Batch Production Records, various record forms & test reports
• Involve in various validation activities, equipment calibration activities and product stability studies
• Assist in EM / compressed air and purified water monitoring program
• Provide and maintain training program for all QC staff with preset schedule
• Assist in Quality Management System Implementation such OOS investigation, Risk Assessment, Deviation & Incident Investigation Management, Product Quality Complaint & CAPA etc.
• Manage a team of 7-10 pax

Requirements

• Degree holder in Chinese Medicines, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Studies or related disciplines 
• At least 5 years of experience from either the pharmaceutical/ food industry
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience at supervisory level 
• Experience in microbiological testing of FOOD, TCM and pharmaceutical 
• Familiar with PIC/s GMP is an advantage 
• Proficient in both English and Cantonese 
• Candidates with less experience, will be considered as Sr. Supervisor / Supervisor

Act as the representative for our Hong Kong office in logistical matters.

Logistics Management:

Oversee the end-to-end logistics operations, ensuring efficiency and timely delivery.

Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize processes.

Quality Management:

Maintain and enhance quality control processes within the logistics function.
