Prenetics is looking for a highly motivated bioinformatics scientist to lead our bioinformatics team. In this role you will be responsible for leading the bioinformatics team and analyzing NGS data. You will also be responsible for supporting the clinical team to manage the queries. You will independently and proactively identify process issues and recommend solutions given critical timelines. This work is interdisciplinary and involves collaboration with lab scientists, R&D scientists and the bioinformatics team. Key Responsibilities

• Pipeline Development and Optimization:
• Develop, test, and refine bioinformatics pipelines to ensure scalability, accuracy, and efficiency in analyzing Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) data.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy, automate, and maintain bioinformatics workflows in cloud and on-premises environments.
• Lead Bioinformatics Team:
• Lead the team of bioinformatics scientists and monitor their R&D progress.
• Interact with stakeholders, such as Chief Clinical Officer, Chief Scientific Officers and Senior Research Scientist, to transform the company level R&D and production bioinformatics requirements into day-to-day operations by working with bioinformatics team members.
• Collaboration and Support:
• Work closely with genomic scientists, clinical researchers, and software engineers to design and implement novel bioinformatics solutions tailored to product development and research needs.

• Build, curate, and maintain robust genotype and phenotype databases to enable large-scale data analysis.

• Proactively identify process improvements and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and data quality.

• Required: MSc in computer science, bioinformatics, information systems or related field with at least 5 years’ experience working in the industry is preferred. 
• Required: 3+ years of experience with a variety of NGS bioinformatics tools - GATK, samtools, bwa, etc.

• Required: Strong experience and detailed understanding of the statistical and algorithmic workings of modern variant calling packages.

About the role

As a regional key account manager, this Hong Kong-based role will ensure the delivery of expected outcomes along with providing high quality services to our Luxury Fashion customers. What you’ll do: 

This is a diverse and skilled customer and client facing role where you will be responsible for resolving all customer queries to the customer’s complete satisfaction without the need to refer the customer on.

Capable in handling complex CS tasks and strong confidence in dealing with challenging situations.

Your individual performance will be a key contribution to the department achieving all targets for quality, productivity, compliance and regulation.

You will be a customer service champion, putting the customer at the centre of everything you do and putting forward ideas for the continual improvement of the customer experience.

You need to obtain HKIA license (IIQE Paper 1 and Paper 2) and maintain the license by meeting the CPD hours requirement every year.

Hex Trust Information Security Team is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Lead, Security Engineering to lead the Security Team's engineering and operations, ensure the right talent is in place, coach and mentor team members. Collaboration with other teams is essential to align and achieve security objectives. You are expected to have deep hands-on experience with least some security domains, such as Cloud Security, Security Engineering, Infrastructure Security, Zero Trust architecture, Security Operations, On-premise Security, and Crypto Wallet Security with strong application background. 

Responsibilities

• Establish Threat modeling in the company, and propose and implement mitigation strategies
• Plan, implement and operate our security solution stack together with the rest of the team (CSPM, CWPP, PAM, SIEM, EDR,  WAF, DLP, Vulnerability management tool )
• Assess current cybersecurity processes and propose improvements on the processes and P&P in order to have the highest overall cybersecurity standards against both external and internal hacks, fraud, or theft.
• Manage and perform a variety of technical assessments including penetration tests source code reviews, security posture reviews, purple teaming etc.
• Take charge of security incident management and provide oversight of follow-up and remediation actions as identified. Liaise between key stakeholders, managers, IT professionals and other Cyber Security staff within the team.
• Manage our security vendors and partners

• Experience working in DevOps / DevSecOps teams, understanding and working knowledge of tooling used by these teams (Terraform, CI/CD pipelines)
• Experience with PAM, IAM applications, knowledge of OpenID, OAuth2, PKI
• Experience with SaaS security tooling (CDNs, ng-WAFs, etc.)
• Experience working in Cloud Native environment (AWS, GCP)
• Experience with network security infrastructure (Web content filtering, Firewall, IDS and DLP controls)
• Advanced security knowledge of Cloud Native stack (Kubernetes, Containers, AWS, GCP)
• Scripting and automation experience (Python, TypeScript, Bash, etc.)
• Application Penetration Testing, Application Security Reviews, Purple-teaming
• Incident Response management and investigations
• Operational familiarity with key management and HSM systems
• At least 5 years of experience in some of the above security domains 
• At least 10 years of experience in the industry and at least 2 years of team management experience
• Cloud certifications, CISSP, OSCP, OSEP, CRTP, CRTE will be a plus
• Ability to influence others and work towards a common vision or goal
