Forum is our Content Creation business. We produce research that allows institutional investors to make better and faster investment decisions. We conduct in depth Interviews with senior executives and industry specialists to unearth critical insights and generate unfiltered transcripts. 

Our 175-strong industry aligned team covers over 18,000 public and private companies, applying data-driven factor models to identify where capital is most likely to be deployed.  

In order for us to deliver on our ambitious growth targets, we would like to recruit an Associate to assist our growing team in Hong Kong and Japan in identifying and engaging with the most relevant industry professionals to take part in upcoming interview discussions.

Responsibilities

In this role your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Performing research on industries and businesses in Pan-Asia region, with a focus on the Japan market, in order to source and identify the most relevant individuals (C-level executives and practitioners working at the heart of their industries) to take part in moderated interviews

• Engaging these individuals to invite them to participate in our research, while assessing and ensuring that their insights are relevant and their fees are within budget
• Building a professional network and monitoring the relevant markets/companies in the assigned sector areas according to Forum content coverage strategies
• Working in tight deadlines and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders across different global offices

Requirements

• A real interest in financial markets and the alternative investments space
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to confidently interact with C-level industry experts on the phone
• Demonstrable skill in carrying out phone-based and desktop research with a logical and focused approach
• Self-motivated; a resourceful nature, with a diligent and proactive approach to their work
• The ability to work well within a team, in a fast-paced environment and under pressure. Positive and can-do attitude are essential
• The ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and effectively and reached assigned KPIs
• Obtained a score of >3.0 GPA if you’re a fresh graduate
   

• Conduct background research on various government policies and programs
• Assist in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data related to policy issues
• Prepare research briefs, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders
• Monitor and summarize legislative and regulatory developments
• Support the organization of events, workshops, and meetings related to policy research
• Provide administrative support related to policy research, projects, and initiatives
• Collaborate with team members on special projects and initiatives

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, or a related field
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Cantonese
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Interest in government policy and public affairs

As the Visual Merchandiser, you will help shape the store's visual identity and customer experience by designing and executing creative store layouts and displays that represent our brand.

What you will be doing:

• Assist with retail design and visual merchandising, including in-store displays, pop-up stores, new & festive products, and POS materials
• Assist in the preparation of the VM proposals, design development, technical issues or installation, and also ensuring the uniformity of store display
• Ensure design elements align with the brand image and provide guidelines for future use
• Support installation and maintenance of visual displays in retail locations
• Assist in planing and set-up of new store openings, expansions, remodels, and renovations
• Stay updated on retail and design trends to enhance the in-store experience and boost customer engagement

About the job

Leader of a small team in:-

·        Participate in the ITF project and post-ITF project on novel traditional Chinese Medicines development.

·        Develop new research technologies in new formulation techniques for novel TCM health products.

·        Participate in searching literature, sourcing for new equipment and writing proposals for funding.

• Perform formulation characterization such as moisture content, particle size analysis, microscopic observation, content assay and dissolution experiment.
• Communication with other departments and stakeholders in performing new product development projects and research projects.

Must be hand-on in participating formulation experiments and other activities

About the talent:

• PhD or Master’s in Chinese Medicines, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Science, Material Science, Food and Nutritional Science, Chemical Engineering or relevant discipline.
• >3 years experience in leading a group of research staff to execute research projects. Experience in TCM research, nanotechnology or formulation technology is highly preferred.
• Good people management and communication skills. Good cultural fit to local research environment.
• Background knowledge in the treatment method of traditional Chinese Medicines is a plus.
