Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee the financial health of the organization, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, budget management, forecasting, and strategy development. You will work closely with leadership to align financial performance with our business objectives and support overall company growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
• Leading the budgeting and forecasting processes, working with various departments to gather input and ensure alignment with overall company strategy.
• Conducting detailed financial analysis to provide insights and recommendations that drive business performance and guide strategic decision-making.
• Ensuring compliance with local and international financial regulations and accurate reporting, providing necessary documentation for audits.
• Implementing robust financial controls and processes to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate financial risks.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance, support capital expenditure proposals, and evaluate investment opportunities.
• Managing the finance team, providing mentorship and development opportunities to further enhance their skills and career growth.
• Staying up to date with industry trends and developments in financial practices to drive continuous improvement in financial management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of financial management experience in a multinational or fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Experience in managing finance teams and leading financial strategy and analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to communicate financial concepts effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
• Proficiency in financial management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel).
• Prior experience in the healthcare or cosmetic industry is highly desirable.

• Closely monitor all post-loan cases and identify overdue repayment to minimise credit losses from time to time
• Perform phone dunning and/or reminder message to delinquent clients in professional manner
• Communicate and monitor performance of appointed external parties including debt collection agencies, etc.
• Liaise with different internal parties in resolving disputes and outstanding accounts
• Prepare debt collection status report
• Provide general administration and clerical support to the team
• Handle enquiries related to collection matters
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned

• Tertiary education, or equivalent qualifications at HKQF level 3
• Minimum 1 year working experience in sales support or customer service, preferably in credit control and debt collection operations
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese
• Strong self-motivation, with ability to work independently and under pressure
• Good interpersonal, negotiation and problem-solving skill
• Maintain a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all time

Assist finance function for all financial aspects, including but not limited to:

• Maintain the group’s system of accounts and keep books and records on all group transactions and assets
• Support day-to-day operations including payments process and bank account maintenance
• Assist in business projects and group requests, e.g. entity setup
• Assist in management reports preparation and month-end closing process
• Prepare monthly budget and closely monitor the liquid capital requirement coordinate with internal compliance team for regulatory filings/ requests
• Implement and maintain effective financial controls for the organization
• Perform financial and regulatory reporting functions, e.g. preparation of Financial Resources Return, PQR filing
• Liaise with external fund administrator and external auditors on annual audit procedures
• Monitor and calculate incentive fees for portfolio managers
• Liaise with external tax representatives for the preparation of tax returns
• Handle other issues related to financial arrangements
• Take up ad hoc projects as assigned

• With a university or above degree in Finance or Accounting (Chartered Accountant is preferable)
• Minimum of 5 years experience in asset management, audit, fund administration or financial institute. Highly prefer auditors in asset management field
• Basic understanding of investment funds or asset management is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written English

Job Responsibilities:

Corporate Accounting

• Handle full sets of accounts including but not limited to financial and management reporting, AR, AP, management fee records, bank reconciliation, etc
• Prepare monthly end close, prepare management report and FRR reporting in a timely manner and in compliance with local regulations
• Monitor the liquid capital on a monthly basis
• Prepare consolidation package, including all necessary consolidation adjustments and eliminations 
• Prepare consolidated cashflow forecast and annual budget

Fund Accounting

• Process vendors' invoices for the fund and corporation
• Work with fund administrator on non-trading expenses bookings and payments for third-party invoices
• Perform NAV pack and returns review, management fee and performance fee review, etc

Other responsibilities

• Coordinate with auditor and tax advisor for tax filing and annual audit
• Assist in system enhancement and ad-hoc tasks

• Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting/Finance or a related discipline
• At least 4 years of corporate accounting/ auditing experience with FS exposure
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Good knowledge of International Accounting Standards and US GAAP, tax, and relevant statutory rules and regulations
