Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive reviews of insurance products, including policy wordings, endorsements, and riders, to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Collaborate with product development teams to provide compliance guidance and support during the design and development of new insurance products. Analyze and interpret complex regulatory requirements and industry standards to identify potential compliance issues and recommend appropriate actions. Review marketing materials, including brochures, websites, and advertisements, to ensure compliance with disclosure requirements and prevent misleading or deceptive practices. Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and industry guidelines related to insurance products and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders. Develop and implement compliance training programs for employees involved in insurance product development, marketing, and distribution. Conduct compliance audits and assessments to identify areas of non-compliance and make recommendations for corrective actions. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as legal, risk management, and product teams, to address compliance issues and implement effective compliance controls. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, insurance, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance product compliance, regulatory compliance, or a related role within the insurance industry. Candidates with little product compliance experience but possess insurance regulatory compliance experience are also welcome. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and apply them to insurance product compliance. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex compliance concepts to non-compliance professionals. Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
