The Role:

As an Account Coordinator, you will contribute to Burson’s performance by engaging in day-to-day client activities under the supervision and guidance of senior team members. You are required to actively learn the ropes and support the senior account team members to manage client relationships, satisfying and delighting clients and generating new business. You will also be expected to support our corporate strategy and your practice or office to help ensure superior client service, a winning culture and profitability.

• Be knowledgeable about your clients, their industries and competitors; stay updated on client trade publications, national/regional news outlets
• Be a keen learner and know the technicalities behind skilled writing to be able to draw up actionable client communications materials such as status reports, campaign summary reports, general activity reports etc., under guidance and supervision
• Actively participate in team and client meetings and be comfortable sharing and presenting your views internally and in front of client, if appropriate
• Monitor media coverage of clients and support the account team on daily administrative tasks
• Play an active role in coordinating press materials and events such as press kits, releases and press conferences
• Learn the social media trends and the support the seniors on implementing social media/digital programs
• Listen attentively during client meetings for potential opportunities and suggest ideas to your senior team members as they could lead to new business.
• Assist the senior members of the team with research, case studies and other materials for client presentations, new business proposals, pitches and industry award submissions to drive business for Burson
• Engaging and working with industry analysts and third parties

Experience that contributes to your success:

• Minimum 3-months of PR internships experiences
• Outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
• Ability to work both independently and as a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good problem solving and time management skills

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the scope, planning, budgeting, definition, and initiation of digital accounts and projects.
• Serve as the main account contact and cultivate relationships with clients through day-to-day interactions and account servicing.
• Become familiar with the client’s business objectives, communication strategies, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of projects according to client’s needs and objectives.

• Brainstorm new, creative approaches to influencer campaigns.
• Liaise with internal teams to create and coordinate communication strategies that work across different channels.
• Knowledge of digital, mobile and social media environments and experience across a range of analytics platforms preferred.

• Degree qualifications with at least 4-6 years of relevant experience in a similar role or within integrated marketing communications organizations.
• Proven track record in outreach campaign strategies.
• Experience in paid social on global and Chinese social media is a must.
• In depth knowledge of the social media marketing industry.
• Well organized with excellent time management skills.
• Outstanding project management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Strong networking aptitude.
• Familiarity with global influencers and media relationships; experience working with global influencers in fashion, sustainability, or tech is a plus.
• Understanding of macro topics, such as global economy, environment protection and international relations, would be a big plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are a must.
• Fluency in Mandarin & Cantonese would be a bonus
• Less experienced candidates will be considered for the Senior Account Executive position

• Play an active role in supporting the senior team members in planning and quality implementation of PR initiatives for a group of accounts within time and budget constraints. 
• Support the senior team in developing quality materials such as press releases, bylines, briefing books, etc.
• Maintain relationships with prominent media members within and outside your clients' industries, staying current on any news that can benefit clients.
• Be responsible for creating professional, actionable client-facing communications, status reports, campaign summary reports and general account activity reports.  
• Participate in new business development, including brainstorming and research.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating compelling and engaging content for digital campaigns, including social media posts, blog articles, video scripts, and other digital content formats.
• Plan, execute, and manage projects, which include, but not limited to digital programs, online events, and tactical campaigns, including scheduling, reporting and coordination.
• Collaborate with designers and other digital team members to develop creative concepts and visual briefs for digital campaigns and ensure cohesive storytelling and visual consistency across all content assets.
• Assist in maintaining project documentation, ensuring accurate and organized records, and provide administrative assistance support.
• Conduct research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging content formats to inform content creation strategies.
• Develop communication strategy for digital & social media and coordinate with creative team for content and creative development.
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to client’s needs and objectives.
• Clearly communicate the progress of campaigns and initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
• Demonstrate strong collaboration skills with internal teams, vendors, media partners, and business partners. Work and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including internal teams, vendors, media partners, and business partners.
• Work with other strategists, creative team, and production to set measurable benchmarks for campaign effectiveness.
• Maintain weekly/monthly digital reports for various clients.
• Become familiar with the client’s business objectives, communication strategies, & internal stakeholders.
• Cultivate relationship with clients through day-to-day interaction and account servicing.
• Stay updated on industry trends and campaigns and bring strategic & value-adding advise to your clients.

• Degree qualifications with 1-2 years of relevant experience in a similar role or within integrated marketing communications organizations.
• Proven experience as a copywriter or content creator, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work in social media copywriting and video scriptwriting.
• Creative thinking and storytelling abilities, with a demonstrated ability to develop original and compelling narratives.
• Experience in project management and coordination, especially social media-driven integrated projects.
• Experience in social media channel management, including but not limited to English copywriting & content development, social media monitoring, visual planning & creative brief development, and social ads.
• Knowledgeable of the global social media landscape with a good understanding of local nuances.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English is a prerequisite, while fluency in Chinese would be beneficial.
