Your new role As a member of the Operation Department, you will be responsible for a range of tasks that ensure the quality and efficiency of the banking services. One of my main duties is to monitor and review the monthly key performance indicators (KPI) of the Operations Department. Review and handle the departmental policy and procedure (P&P), which provide the guidelines and standards for the operations. Assist in coordinating and completing the internal control assessment, which evaluates the effectiveness and adequacy of internal controls and risk management systems. Handle the external assessment to the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), which involves submitting the compliance of business (COBP) and financial crime data reports, as required by the regulatory authority. Review bank wide business continuity plan (BCP) drill, which tests the preparedness and resilience in the event of a disruption or crisis. Consolidate the operational risk and event tasks, which identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate the potential risks and events that may affect operation processes. Assist the Operation Head in communicating with various departments and the Head Office, which facilitates the coordination and collaboration amongst different units and stakeholders. Prepare Dashboard, KPI report, and operational statistic reports, which present the data and analysis of the operational performance and activities. What you'll need to succeed Bachelor degree in Business or Finance or in the related fields. Minimum 5 years of operation management and planning experience in banking sector. Detail-oriented and able to work independently with good communication skills; Proficient in MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint; Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Mandarin); Immediately available candidate is preferred.
