Job Description
Job Summary:
The position reports to the Head of HK and SEA Intermediary Sales, and forms part of the team focusing on generating business from retail distribution channels through Hong Kong. This includes banks, insurance firms, family offices, security houses as well as digital platforms
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
- Continue to build Invesco’s relationships with key stakeholders of intermediaries to expand the book of business
- Adequately present asset class and capabilities of investment teams at the early stages of engagement
- Work on RFIs / RFPs as part of the onboarding process for intermediaries
- Lead Distribution Agreement discussions
- Achieve sales and revenue target as assigned
- Achieve agreed level of client engagement activities
- Actively market existing products include having regular conversations with various teams in the intermediaries to highlight attractiveness and strength of Invesco products versus peers
- Support clients when they conduct peer comparison analysis
- Coordinate and lead in the organization of roadshows / RM briefings
- Address issues/challenges that clients may face with respect to selling our products to their end investors
- Work closely with other departments (E.g. Investment, Compliance, Singapore Retail Sales) in delivering timely response and solving issues faced by clients
- Work closely with HK Retail Sales team to ensure collaborative marketing efforts to intermediaries with presence in both locations
Work Experience / Knowledge:
Preferred 7 - 10 years of experience in sales of investment products, preferably also with some knowledge of funds’ research
Experience and knowledge of key large distributors in Hong Kong are a plus

- Accurate, articulate, presentable and showing initiative
- Strong analytical skills and computer skills
- CFA/ CAIA and other technical skills are plus
