The Senior Associate, Operations at FundPark, a leading financial technology company, will gain hands-on experience across various loan operations functions. The overall objective of this role is to provide legal support, advice, and guidance across a broad range of practice areas, with respect to the local laws and regulations of the country or countries for which the Country General Counsel Group Manager is responsible.
This role is responsible for providing guidance, support, and legal advice on Citi's businesses and functions in Hong Kong. This role requires thorough understanding of the business needs and expectations, combined with a solid conceptual / practical grounding in the laws and regulations of the geographies in which we operate. Provides input into strategic decisions, exercising sound legal judgement to develop proactive, risk-appropriate, and commercially practical business-oriented solutions.
Responsibilities:
In coordination with the Country Counsel team, provides legal advice and support to Country Business Management on legal, control function and regulatory matters associated with Citi’s business activities and legal entities in the countries covered; ensures that Citi is appropriately addressing legal, regulatory, franchise and reputational risks in these countries
Supports strategic initiatives of the businesses and functions in countries covered by providing legal guidance and interpretations of relevant laws, rules, regulations, and industry practices, and advising business management on legal matters impacting the business
Responsible for coordinating the provision of internal and external legal support to Citi’s local businesses in Hong Kong, working closely with the relevant Regional Product Counsel (or his or her designee) to ensure that Citi’s legal needs are met in a cost-effective manner
Develops a broad understanding of Citi’s businesses in the Hong Kong and of the major legal and regulatory risks facing those businesses
Ensures business decisions are made with appropriate legal advice and input by applying institutional knowledge against industry standard, widely accepted business practices, laws, rules, and regulatory guidelines, escalating as appropriate
Collaborates across internal lines of business and control/support functions to achieve coordinated and efficient outcomes on matters of common interest; coordinates closely with Legal team members, as appropriate
Advise (or arrange for the provision of legal advice by other internal or external counsel) business management on legal and regulatory risks affecting Citi’s businesses in the Hong Kong, as well as franchise and reputational risks, to help ensure that Citi is appropriately addressing those risks
Provides legal advice to the Citi Country Officers and country management to support Citi’s maintaining of good relations with local regulators and all other local regulatory bodies that are relevant to Citi business activities
Assures that key legal and regulatory developments that may impact or otherwise be relevant to Citi’s businesses in the country, including those involving other financial institutions, are appropriately monitored and that country management is apprised of significant developments
Takes an active role in any relevant country-level or cluster-level governance committees as assigned, e.g., coordinating committee, business risk & controls committee, legal & compliance committee, legal vehicle management committee; act as lawyer providing support to the country in any matter.
Manages day-to-day legal activities as a subject matter expert in area of responsibility and provide senior advisory services to business partners

Qualifications:
7+ years of relevant industry experience, preferably in financial services

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in develop and execute brand plans & strategies to maximize brand awareness and achieve business goals
Support on the planning and execution of new product launch plan
Co-ordinate with retailers and third parties on promotions’ planning and execution
Co-ordinate with press and agencies on PR and communications
Work closely with internal and external parties to ensure counter activations and visual merchandising are properly executed
Work closely with brand principal to ensure all marketing plans and materials will uphold brand image
Consolidate and analyze sales data for reporting
Be responsible for inventory and budget control
Perform ad-hoc projects as assigned
University graduate in Business Administration, Marketing or related disciplines
At least 3 years working experience in the sales & marketing of beauty, FMCG, retail, or related industries
Able to collaborate well with team members
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Fluent in written and spoken Chinese and English
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing

Schedule pest control treatment activities using internal scheduling system, by liaising with field Operations on resource availability, to produce efficient routes that maximize resource capacity
Support Sales team with priority scheduling within routes to drive business growth
Receive inbound customer communications relating to service scheduling requirements and addresses reported issues/complaints within the scheduling system
Monitor services delivery status through daily task reviews and re-schedules to assist service leaders drive operational efficiency
Completes daily transaction tasks within the internal scheduling system based on field reports to enable billing and payment collection
Communicates with service leaders on order processing, follow up logistics and warehouse to ensure uninterrupted route activation
Organize and monitor data of correspondence and records by using the internal system
System data Input and update
Generate and prepare service reports, where required. Business general direction is to work digitally and move into paperless environment
Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Higher Diploma or above with 1 year working experience / University degree in any disciplines, experience in scheduling or booking in service industry is an advantage
Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Planning Executive
Proficient in PC operation, e.g. MS Office and Chinese typing, Google enterprise solutions (Doc, Sheet, Slide)
Fast learner with strong attention to details
Data sensitive, disciplined in maintaining accurate data for scheduling use
Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
Spoken and written English proficiency preferred.
Self-motivated with positive working attitude and willing to learn
Able to work independently with minimum supervision
Good time management
Able to work under pressure
Immediate available is preferred
