We are looking for a Business Director to join us on our journey. This is a newly-created role, reporting directly into our Hong Kong Market Director, that focuses on delivering world class deliverables to our clients while upskilling and providing guidance to our talents ensuring their growth and reaching their full potential.

Our ideal candidate is an articulate senior talent in the media agency domain with solid experience in integrated marketing channels including both online & offline best practices with branding activation expereince. We are looking for somebody with solid digital knowledge who can connect the dots with traditional media in an increasingly omnichannel world, who is immersed in data and technology and who is at the bleeding edge of industry innovation.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING ON ANY GIVEN DAY

• Create New Opportunities:
• Support Business growth and efficiency
• Delivering client billing and resource in line with targets
• Lead multi-channel strategy and planning, and work alongside channel teams to implement it
• Drive proposals and support in winning new business
• Retain & Build Lasting Relationships:
• Act as a senior client contact and point of escalation. Working to maintain & strengthen excellent client relationships at all levels
• Lead the strategic dialogue with your client, connecting with planners and the activation team to deliver both effective results and innovative solutions
• Ensure excellent delivery of all cross-channel work in a timely manner
• Keep abreast of channel and product updates within the agency, ensuring these are communicated to the client where appropriate
• Ensure Client contractual obligations, service levels and performance are maintained
• Work with the APAC Managing Director and Channel Heads to ensure optimal resource across Clients
• Manage the client P&L for the Hong Kong office, with support from the APAC Managing Director
• Grow Your Clients Business & Ours:
• Recognise opportunities to advance our client engagements and work alongside the Account Managers, Market Directors and Channel Heads to maximise these
• Act as partner for the client, and strive for new and innovative opportunities to drive the client’s business

• Grow Your Team & Collaborate with wider teams across APAC:
• Develop and grow our local team
• Support the development of the team below and around you, providing mentorship, coaching and direction to the office
• Grow each team and their capacity, and improve working methods to increase efficiency
• Be part of the wider community and collaborate with other functions and offices on various projects

• 8 + years in both digital & offline marketing across multiple channels (Paid Search, Social Media, Display/Programmatic, branding)
• Solid agency experience
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Strong experience in managing teams and development of staff
• Confident client facing ability
• Excel at building relationships, both internally and with clients themselves
• Experience managing retail and/or travel clients
• Strong numerical skills and commercially aware
• Results and target driven with excellent attention to detail
• Able to prioritise and multi-task, working with all agency departments as well as independently
• Fluent English. Cantonese and/or Mandarin is also preferred

Key Responsibilities

• As a Project Manager, you will own the project progress tracking, reporting, and planning. You manage the project stakeholder and communication. You gather facts include analytical methods to develop solutions scenarios to support project stakeholder to make decisions. You control the project escalation management to achieve the desired goals
• You manage the project with the defined common best practices (e.g., Jira backlog, story pointing etc.) and responsible for project reporting to stakeholders and business counterparts
• We have an excellent mix of people, which we believe makes for a more vibrant, more innovative and more productive team
• Deliver, oversee and ensure quality of Salesforce implementation projects from start to finish on time and within budget
• Performs “As-Is” and Fit/Gap analyses in to map the Cloud technology’s offerings and capabilities to the Client business needs
• Works closely with technical architects to make the bridge between the business team and IT team
• Coordinates releases and post Go-Live materials (e.g. training documentation, training sessions)
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, implement solutions, and drive continuous improvement
• Ability to adapt to changes in technology, business needs, and industry best practices
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with users, stakeholders, and technical teams
• An approachable, friendly work demeanour – you don’t have to be an extrovert but our company enjoys good rapport and a motivated, but easy-going team spirit

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline is typically preferred and/or 3+ years related work experience
• Salesforce Administrator certification, such as "Salesforce Certified Administrator," is highly desirable
• Additional Salesforce certifications, such as "Salesforce Advanced Administrator" or "Salesforce Platform App Builder," can further enhance a candidate's qualifications
• A solid foundation and hands-on experience working with Salesforce is crucial. Candidates should have practical knowledge of Salesforce configuration, customisation, and administration
• Ability to create and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytical tools to support business insights and decision-making
• Familiarity with web technologies, databases, and CRM concepts. Knowledge of programming languages (such as Apex, JavaScript) is a plus but not always required

Job Responsibilities:

Corporate Accounting

• Handle full sets of accounts including but not limited to financial and management reporting, AR, AP, management fee records, bank reconciliation, etc
• Prepare monthly end close, prepare management report and FRR reporting in a timely manner and in compliance with local regulations
• Monitor the liquid capital on a monthly basis
• Prepare consolidation package, including all necessary consolidation adjustments and eliminations 
• Prepare consolidated cashflow forecast and annual budget

Fund Accounting

• Process vendors' invoices for the fund and corporation
• Work with fund administrator on non-trading expenses bookings and payments for third-party invoices
• Perform NAV pack and returns review, management fee and performance fee review, etc

Other responsibilities

• Coordinate with auditor and tax advisor for tax filing and annual audit
• Assist in system enhancement and ad-hoc tasks

• Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting/Finance or a related discipline
• At least 4 years of corporate accounting/ auditing experience with FS exposure
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese

Reception and Office Management

• Handle office main line, screen calls, and provide client support
• Manage meeting rooms, common areas, and office visitors
• Maintain office equipment and manage office supplies
• Administer office security system and manage access cards
• Coordinate travel requests for Hong Kong team and visitors
• Manage business cards for all employees and assist with event scheduling.
• Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers
• Oversee IT support for the office, including hardware and software arrangements for new joiners
• Support new joiner and leaver processes, including printer and phone system setup
• Manage office work mobiles, contracts and renewals on a timely manner.
• Maintain and update stock and checklist on fixed assets and office equipment

Marketing and Business Support

• Assist with sales and marketing requirements for the office
• Coordinate event registrations, source and liaise with venues, manage logistics for marketing materials.
• Update administrative and CRM records and produce reports upon request

Operational Support

• Assist with credit card transactions, preparation of purchase orders, and tracking of expense reports.
• Provide ad hoc support to finance and business when needed

Essential

• Attention to detail and a passion for admin, process and efficiency
• Good command of English language skills (spoken and written)
• Experience in reception work, office management and maintenance, travel arrangements and sales and marketing coordination
• Able to work to tight deadlines
• Highly collaborative, enabling a working partnership with multiple team members across multiple disciplines

Preferred

• Worked in a multinational corporate environment

• Certificate or higher in a related field
• 3-5 years of prior experience in reception, office management, travel coordination, and sales/marketing support.
• Project management skills
• Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Excellent command of spoken and written Chinese and English

• Build and maintain detailed company models as directed by the Portfolio Managers
• Conduct fundamental research into companies, industries, and sectors
• Attend conferences and industry events
• Initiate and develop primary industry contacts, and build relationships with the relevant Sell-Side Analyst and Research Associates
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of all of the recommendation materials

• Bachelor's degree holder in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related disciplines
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Equity Research, Private Equity, Investment Banking, Investment Management, Hedge Fund, Asset Management, or equivalent industry
• Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail and strong accounting knowledge
• Demonstrate ability to build financial models and conduct in-depth bottom-up fundamental research
• Strong analytical skills and ability to think independently about stocks and industries
• Ability to articulate and defend investment thesis through both written and verbal communications
