We are seeking a Senior Architect to join our R&D team in Hong Kong or China. This role is crucial for driving our product development, designing scalable solutions, and ensuring the highest standards of performance and reliability. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in architecture design, a deep understanding of communication technologies, and a passion for innovation.
Responsibilities
1. Diagnose product issues and drive architectural improvements and implementations.
2. Optimize service performance within a cloud-native architecture, focusing on middleware, databases, and application systems.
3. Design and architect large-scale distributed systems, such as:
Databases capable of storing billions of messages
Systems ensuring low latency message delivery (e.g., 100-1000 messages per second)
4. Develop an enterprise service performance optimization system leveraging cloud technologies.
5. Participate in technical operations and drive product iterations.
1. Bachelor’s degree or above in a computer-related field with more than 8 years of software development experience.
2. Proficient in MySQL and MongoDB.
3. Familiar with other relational databases such as DM and PG, and NoSQL databases like Redis; able to choose the appropriate database for different scenarios.
4. Skilled in using performance analysis and debugging tools to identify and analyze application service performance bottlenecks efficiently.
5. Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Go; solid understanding of computer theory and experience in virtual machine tuning.
6. Knowledgeable about middleware such as Redis, MySQL, ZooKeeper, Kafka, ELK, etc.
7. Experienced in various design patterns and leading the development of large-scale distributed backend services, including strategies for current limiting, disaster recovery, and downgrading.
8. Practical experience and optimization skills in microservice architecture within large-scale cloud environments.
9. Familiarity with Linux, containers, and Kubernetes.

The role
You will be responsible for continuously delighting and exciting the LB community through our thoughtful assortment and superb merchandising strategy and implementation. Reporting directly to our Senior Director, Buying & Merchandising, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Love, Bonito through our exhilarating scale-up season.
Main responsibilities
Drive and implement merchandising strategies that align with LB identity and DNA, target market, seasonal trends and sales forecasts
Research and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify opportunities and risks in the market
Partner with Buying to place initial buys and lead on allocations across country channels
Monitor inventory levels and sales performance to make informed decisions about product assortments, reorder quantities, and markdown strategies
Analyse sales performance to identify opportunities and make timely adjustments; detailed reporting and sharing with country and channel regional teams
Collaborate with marketing, e-commerce, visual merchandisers and retail area managers to ensure that products are displayed effectively to drive sales and enhance the shopping experience
Partner with marketing on product launches, promotions, and campaigns to maximise visibility and generate excitement around new arrivals and key fashion trends
Monitor inventory levels, turnover rates, and sell-through percentages to optimise stock levels and minimise excess inventory and markdowns
Implement inventory control measures, such as stock replenishment, allocation and transfers, to ensure that stores have adequate stock levels to meet customer demand.
Works closely with Planning team to Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and implement strategies to minimise markdowns, clear end of life and liquidate excess inventory to suitable partners or organisations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including buying, planning, marketing, e-commerce, retail and VM, to align merchandising strategies with overall business objectives.
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to share insights, coordinate activities, and address any issues or challenges related to merchandise planning and execution.
Build strong relationships with external partners, such as suppliers, vendors, and industry contacts, to stay informed about market trends, product availability, and emerging opportunities
Lead, nurture and inspire a high performing and passionate merchandising team

Position Summary

In this role, you will manage the procurement process, ensuring consistent and compliant purchasing operations while maintaining strong relationships with our vendors & suppliers. Duties & Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and ongoing vendor relationship management
Conduct market research to identify potential vendors and evaluate their capabilities, pricing, and quality of products or services
Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to achieve optimal pricing and service levels
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement procurement strategies and initiatives
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant legal and regulatory requirements
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and vendor contracts
Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or disputes that may arise
Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the procurement function

Position Summary
Digital Asset Custody provides clients with a highly secure technology environment in which to hold the private keys to their virtual assets, including cryptocurrencies, tokens, stablecoins, NFTs etc. Different wallet options are available, providing variable levels of accessibility vs security depending on the requirements of individual clients. A number of ancillary services are offered which can provide additional returns to custody clients. In addition, technological solutions are offered to clients to provide a system platform which can be operated either on Hex Trust’s infrastructure or installed “on prem” under the complete control of the client.
The objective of the role is to define an evolving, market-leading suite of products and services to satisfy clients’ developing requirements in a competitive and cost-effective manner. At a strategic level this involves analysing the blockchain industry, the market and competitor trends and helping position the Hex Trust product suite to be first-to-market, competitive, scalable and profitable. On a more tactical level it involves working with Technology, Operations and potential or existing clients to find practical and workable solutions to “here and now” requirements.
The role ideally requires an understanding of the custody business in both traditional and virtual asset environments since the principles underlying custody are broadly similar in both. A sound understanding of the technical aspects of blockchain’s underlying foundations is required to enable different options to be effectively evaluated.
The role requires both analytical and creative capabilities, on the one hand working with various parties to identify detailed solutions, prepare client and internal proposals and gain management approval for variations from core capabilities where commercially viable, while on the other hand identifying creatively how existing functionality might be used to provide innovative solutions without the need for development. The role will involve dealing with new situations in a rapidly evolving environment. A working knowledge of key operational controls, regulatory requirements, risk identification and management will be highly beneficial, as will awareness of cybersecurity principles .
Our Custody platform, Hex Safe, also serves as one of the building blocks for added-value services and the role involves liaison with other Products such as Trading and Financing to determine how Hex Safe can best be used to complement these products without compromising its key features or controls. Bundled products are also areas in which the jobholder will use his/her business acumen to propose new pricing structures and project commercial strategies.
Duties & Responsibilities
Understand client needs and requirements through direct and indirect engagement with key clients
Prepare and propose custody solutions in line with the market and the overall company strategy
Contribute to the preparation of RFPs using expertise to create compelling propositions
Analyse the service proposition of competitor custodians and propose route map for gap closure where necessary
Liaise with Technology, Operations and other departments to scope out new and amended products and obtain development estimates
Propose priorities for new and enhanced services using commercial and technical acumen in an environment of finite resources
Prepare Product proposals for consideration by senior management
Perform market research and analysis on competitor/comparable products
Bring new ideas and solutions to the table, become a thought partner to the business teams
Help to manage the trade-off between fulfilling a specific client need vs. making a product that can address broader market needs
Leverage technical know-how to address clients requests in a creative way
Continuously assess current product portfolio on its value proposition to clients and identify areas of improvement early on
Assist in maintaining the Custody team’s roadmap and milestones, and dependencies with strategic priorities in mind
The ideal profile will ideally include the following:
Be a motivated and resourceful self-starter who is also a team player
Be comfortable interfacing external counterparties (clients, partners, vendors)
Experience in interacting with B2B clients to understand their needs
Knowledge of the Custody industry, ideally both traditional and digital
Good understanding of the technical principles of the blockchain/digital asset industry, including private key management
Understanding of the lifecycle of digital assets and how a digital custodian manages asset events such as airdrops, forking, staking, etc.
Be able to work to agreed timelines and deliverables
Be both creative and analytical
Ideally candidates should have relevant Product Management experience in range from 3-5 years of experience.
Passionate about bringing into the market new products and service
Demonstrated , taking initiative and producing results
Ability to collaborate well with a wide range of stakeholders with very different backgrounds: client-facing teams, designers, engineers, QA, Marketing, compliance, risk, etc.
