Job Duties: Being the Senior Infrastructure Solution Manager at HKEX, you will thrive through delivering values, you are forward-thinking, and excited to drive innovative design. This is the new way of solution architecture in the digital journey of HKEX. You will collaborate with a team of Technology SMEs across Application Development, Infrastructure & Operations, Cloud and Automation CoEs, and Information Security teams, to create the robust, scalable, and innovative solutions. Responsibilities: Solution Design: Lead the design of robust, scalable, and resilient network infrastructure solutions, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), data center networks, and cloud-based network services to meet complex business requirements. Technology Exploration & Innovation: Actively research and stay ahead of industry trends in network technology. Evaluate, test, and recommend new technologies, tools, and software that can enhance or optimize the organization's network infrastructure. Strategic Planning & Roadmap Development: Develop strategic plans for network infrastructure development, including the creation of roadmaps that align with the organization's technology strategy and business objectives. Technical Leadership: Provide thought leadership in network technology, participating in architectural decision-making. Set the strategic direction for network technology standards, policies, and procedures within the organization. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with other IT teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure network solutions integrate seamlessly with other IT infrastructure and meet business needs. Lead cross-functional teams on large scale projects or initiatives. Project Consultation & Oversight: Provide expert advice and consultation for network-related projects. Oversee the execution of these projects to ensure designs adhere to best practices and business requirements. Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to network infrastructure and propose mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards. Mentorship & Team Development: Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior architect. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, particularly in the areas of network design and new technology adoption. Requirements: Degree in Computer Science, Information System or IT related disciplines. Minimum 8 years of working experience of providing infrastructure design and implementation. Wide knowledge of architectural frameworks and the ability to produce effective design principles. Advanced degrees or certifications such as CCNA, CCNP are a plus. Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and researching cutting-edge network infrastructure. Deep understanding of network architecture, protocols, and network services (e.g., IP routing, VPNs, network security). Familiarity with a variety of network technologies, vendors, and platforms such as Cisco, Juniper, etc. Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) and network functions virtualization (NFV) is a plus. Proficiency with network diagnostic, monitoring, and management software. Experience with network automation tools and scripting languages is desirable.
