We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager, People Operations to lead our People Operations team across Malaysia and the US. This role requires a strong ability to manage internal stakeholders, implement HR strategies, and ensure seamless HR operations in a multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily HR operations, such as onboarding, offboarding, leave management, work injuries application, etc.
Process regular payroll to ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries, wages, bonuses, and deductions, and ensure compliance with payroll-related regulations, including tax reporting and filing.
Lead the performance review cycle process, including salary adjustments, promotions, and equity reviews.
Oversee and manage the People Operations function for Hong Kong, Malaysia and the US, ensuring alignment with global HR strategies and local compliance requirements.
Drive initiatives to improve employee experience, retention, and overall employee experience.
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic HR initiatives that support business growth.
Monitor HR metrics and provide regular reports to senior management, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
Perform ad-hoc assignments and projects as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
5-8 years of experience in HR operations
Proven experience in managing HR operations across multiple regions, experience in Malaysia and the US will be a plus
Strong understanding of up-to-date AI tools is a MUST
Strong ability to manage internal stakeholders and build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software.
