Make suggestions to the Projects team regarding maintenance and improvements of the space

About this job:
The Sales Manager for GfK will provide global leading information services and products to our clients, mostly in the technology & durable consumer goods industry. Our data offers comprehensive and timely information on market shares and category penetration, competitive sales volumes and insights into distribution, pricing, merchandising and promotion. By combining this detailed information with our professional consultative services, we offer valuable insights and expertise that help our clients improve their manufacturing, marketing and sales decisions. The role will be working in the commercial team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Relationship Management
Own the client relationship and lead the client engagement for the assigned accounts by having a strong understanding their business priorities
Foster relationships at all levels and functions of the client organization to identify opportunities for incremental product/solution sales
Work with delivery team to ensure client service standards are delivered
Business Development
Provide relevant product solutions that answers client business issues/opportunities
Develop a winning sales framework for retaining current and approaching new clients
Work on strategy and approach to win back lapsed clients
Launch and introduce new services in the market to drive adoption among clients
Build a strong pipeline through regular engagement with clients
Build the company’s positive image through active participation in professional associations and industry conferences/seminars

Financial Management
Achieve key financial metrics: revenue and profitability, as well as other related business development objectives
Ensure proper pricing and contracts are applied according to company's policies and guidelines
Understand the companies financial guidelines such as forecast and pipeline management
Use sales technology and digital tools to do work efficiently by recording prospects, forecast pipeline and convert sales
Monitor the actual financial performance against budget/forecast and ensure the implementation of actions that will lead to the achievement of the targets
Here is what we are looking for additionally:
Bachelor's or above degree
Strong business understanding in technology & durable consumer goods markets and related retail landscape
Ideally at least 5+ years of experience in consulting, market research, or business development.
Prior working experiences with IT, Telecom, and Home Appliances accounts, knowledge of research techniques, strong analytical skills and business commercial acumen would be an added advantage
Good English language skills
Strong presentation and communication skills, client-centric approach

You will be responsible for operational and customer excellence, training and people development, and financial profitability for a cluster of stores. Retail Performance & Operational Excellence
Responsible for P/L for the directly operated retail stores for the assigned region
Develop and oversee the implementation of strategic initiatives designed to drive growth, profitability, customer satisfaction and operation efficiency and productivity
Take all actions necessary to achieve sales objectives, and define best corrective actions (both short term and long term
Work closely with Retail Operations team to continuously develop the retail processes to increase productivity and ensure efficiency in all store operations aspects
Conduct analysis of product trends and P.O.S. potential to ensure adequate and appropriate stock levels
Support Commercial(Merchandising) Team in the definition of product and price strategies by providing feedback from the retail stores
Collaborate with Marketing and growth team in special events to enhance the brand image and sales;
Partner with HQ Training to promote retail and operation training to store staff to ensure quality service is maintained within all stores
Maintain outstanding store conditions to optimise layout and displays in-store; support brand and visual campaigns of new tacticals and launches.

Minimum 7 years of experience in the retail industry, preferably in fast fashion
